You can have all that tuned out? I thought I read you couldn't.

No it can't be tuned out. The abs is on the body control module it also shouldn't make your check engine light come on. You abs light will come on you can either put tape over it or pull the bulb if you don't want to see it

You thought right...I asked the HPTuners guys more than a few times if they would grant us access to the ABS module, but they won't do it. Too much liability.

I half thought about desoldering the bulbs (or are they LEDs?), but black electrical tape over the back of the pertinent sections of the overlay works just as well. Sounds ghetto, but you'll never know it was done unless you took the gauge cluster out and pulled the overlay back to have a look.

I just took mine out, it was working, I could sell you it for cheaper than its going to cost for the delete kit. What part went bad?

honestly i have been wanting to remove it but now i have a good reason to, the car sees maybe 7k a year so its not really a concern to me if i have it or not, and i have driven cars without ABS so i know how it will react.

It is what I used on mine...the only problem I had was correctly flaring the lines on the car to work with this kit, and it was my lack of experience that caused the problems. Once I learned how to make a flare worth a ****, it worked great.

The solenoid is the difference. One is different than the other and that's why there's a price difference. I read on a different thread they both do the same thing, last the same ammount, and you really wont notice a difference in performance
