Default Best/Safest way to launch M6 on 10-bolt

So I will be keeping my 3.42's for now, maybe going up to 3.73's later (I have the M29 trans) and have thought about possibly running some drag radials for street or occasional 1/8th visit. I will be putting down about 400rwhp, and just want to know other than a girdle what is the best way to launch to (try) keep the rear together? Spin the tires on launch? Feather the clutch? Or should I just run some stickier street tires (low treadwear rating) to keep the 10-bolt from blowing.

sticky tires + gears + 400hp + launching hard = death

basically its the old pay to play. you could go years with no problem or you can drop it once, hook and blow **** up.

but you will last a lot longer if you ride the clutch out thru 1st or get some spin. not great for timeslips but a hard launch on stickies WILL be the death of your rear.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, I'll probably just stick to the street tires.
