Default difference in shocks

whats the difference in the tokico hp vs. the bilstein hd shocks?? and is their a BIG difference in the bilsteins vs. the koni "yellows"

I don't know about the tokico hp vs. the bilstein hd's, but for the koni's and the bilsteins there's a pretty big difference. The Koni's are adjustable, can run with a greater variety of springs, will last longer, and overall have better quality dampening. Bilsteins are still pretty good tho, but there are differences.

ok thanks i acually think the koni's are out of my price range...so anyone know about the tokico vs. bilstein's??

is your car lowered? if so what springs? need more details.

i dont have any experience with either of those shocks but im sure someone will pitch in.

all i had were stock, kyb agx and konis in the rear.

neither will be all that great for those springs. SLP bilsteins are probably the best you're going to find in your price range (if koni's are not an option).

on a side note, i'm currently upgrading my SLP's to Koni's. they are just flat out a much better shock. it is well worth it to save and do it right the first time. and this is coming from a broke college student haha.
