What its worth?...Purple 98 T/A Vert Hello all.. i have a 1998 Purple Trans Am Convert auto with 90,xxx on the clock that I am fixing to sell/trade. I didnt realize how few of these cars were produced and wanted to know what you all think i can get for it.. I really wish it was t-top, i am not a fan of verts.. but anyway here are some pictures.. it is all original and bone stock..

Needs a paint job
Rpm Gauge stopped working
needs a headlight motor soon (makes noise but still works)
A/C compressor is going out (makes noise but works still)
Starts fine but seems to be missing from time to time (fuel issue?)
either way i rarely drive the car but it does drive awsome..does have a hesitation at times but opens up after it clears.. top is in great condition.. no rips.. power windows and everything else on the car works..
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.. i am new to the LS1 and so far i love it! so hoping to get into a t-top or hard top soon.

you might get $6.5k by me if you're lucky. needs $3k or so in paint/parts, so with 90k miles, being an auto, convertible, and purple, your buyers are limited. you might find a guy who really wants that color but who knows. good luck.

I love that color but the factory paint sucks. My driverside headlight is starting to chip off like you hood. 
I almost cried
If your not in a hurry to sell the car you should shop around and see if someone could touch up the paint. It would help the car sell easier.
5k sounds like a fair deal if you could either fix the paint or mis.
May sound dumb but check the spark plugs and wires. I had a lose wire and the car drove fine until I would try to pass people on the interstate, then it would backfire

it is a pretty nice color.. at first i was didnt like it but now it kinda grew on me..
i was thinking of just fixing the minor things (head light motor..gauge etc..) im not in to much of a rush to sell it and yeah maybe i can get more later on.
better yet that sounds like a better idea! lol
i will check the spark plugs and wires.. thats something i havent checked yet!
