Figured she should be used to the power...
Hopefully the guy gets a nice chunk of money and then he can get a newer Corvette for free.

Deppending on the size of the settlment I would rather not be in any car accident. Car accidents can be very traumatizing and make driving or being in traffic the last thing you want to do, even if your life depends on it.

I used to live in the area where the crash was and she was a dummy to driving that stupid in a 30mph zone like that. I'm glad the passenger at least survived.

The first article has a link to photo which shows a black (or very dark blue) Vette near a tree, bent up on the driver's side. The second article shows a silver or gray Vette near a tree and the driver's side bent up. Doesn't look like the same car to me. The black Vette is nosed into one tree and no other tree near the front of the car. The silver car is nosed up against a tree but there doesn't seem to be another tree near the nose.

Here are pics from each:

Look at the position against the tree and on the walkway, the cowl hood, and how the pass door is bent open, you can even see the front driver side tire in both pics...

It was a supercharged vette. They were (her husband and her) trying to sell the car. Guess they were going through tough times. She was showing off to the buyer, hit the curb and ate the tree. Dumb decision and a bad driver. All you need is quick moment of stupidity and youre gone. She was a mother of 4 kids, from the ages of 7mo to 2yrs. It sucks but it was her fault.
