Default am i loosing HP with 10.6cr

built my 402 with patriot stage 3 72cc and wiesco pistons=10.6cr 236-242 cam 650 lift. pacesetter 1 3/4 headders and ory, 42 inj, ls6 intake, ported tb, 85maf,etc, m6, first plane when i got the short block and heads, i was going with smaller cam 228-232 and chose to go with 10.6cr, i am wondering if or how mutch power i am loosing with that compression ratio now that i am using the 236-242 cam, i only wanted to run pump gas and have no driveability problems.

11.6 would get you about 10-12 more hp. A better intake may be something to consider.

I have read that a full point in compression is worth about 4% in hp.

because i kno that bigger the cam(duration and overlape) the less compresion you have time to build, i was wondering with the cam i have, if there was an ideal cr.
