New T56 I just recently had a new T56 put in my 99 SS Its backed by a centerforce dual friction clutch and all new hydraulics. The transmission drives and shifts great if you are driving nice but as soon as you mash on the throttle and go to bang a gear it won't come out of gear easily or go into the next easily. Does anyone know my problem?

The hydraulic systems on these cars really suck unless you have them spot on. When you hit the throttle hard, you increase the centrifical force applied to the clutch assembly which makes it a little harder for the hydrualics to keep up unless they are right on the money.

What shape is the pressure plate in? I've seen issues like this when the pressure plate is not strong enough to provide the clamping force needed. Normally you will feel the clutch pedal drop some or feel a pulsing in the pedal.

It's a brand new centerforce dual friction clutch kit so everything should b good. Sometimes if I get on it up to about 6k rpm range and the clutch it to shift the clutch takes a few seconds to disengage.
