Automatic Transmission - Best Trans for my needs

Hey guys, I will soon own another FBody, it's a Formula can't wait to get it and do some slight things for it. It's a 6 Speed which I am happy about but at the same time kinda sadden I really miss my old stalled auto. I want to do the M6 to A4 swap, I am debating which trans would be best for street/strip I am thinking 4L0E(max power at about 550) a 4L80E, a 200R4 or another trans, I do a good bit of highway driving so I really want the 4th gear what would everyone reconmend? From my understanding the TH400 and 4L80E share the same gears is the true? I have alot of people trying to talk me into a TH400.

If you want electronic control, go 4L80E. If you want mechanical, go 200-4R.
There is a theory that the 200-4R may net you a little better ET with its closer gear ratio.

How much power are you putting down?

I would go with a nice 4L60 as long as it can handle your power range. The 4L80 is a beast, but heavy and will eat more power then the 4L60.

Just do a 4l60e Do a PerformaBUilt lv2 you will be fine with that and get a good stall.
