Default DBW throttle pedal compatibility

There is a vendor on ebay that claims that the corvette 2005+ throttle pedal can control any 2005+ LSx motor that has a TAC module that is internal to the ECU, which the e40 does(unlike the C5). I have an engine harness/ecu (e40) from a 2006 GTO and a 90mm DBW throttle body.

Anyone know if there is any truth to this. Or do I really need the more expensive LS2 GTO pedal?

Default

not even the same connector, at all, the gto is a 10 way connector and the 05 corvette is a 6 way connector, it could be made to work but you would have to do some terminal replacement.
