LS1 hp? ok, i need a bit of honesty about the LS1 motors.
i've read numerous times from different places and heard through the grapevine that an LS1 will routinely pull 500-550hp (i'm assuming at the motor) with a cam change, an LS6 intake and new tune to the ecm. is there any real world truth to this? or are most of the people i've heard this from full of hot air. i was swaying towards running an LS2 but i can pick up the LS1 with a 6-speed for the price that i would pay for just the LS2. and if the
LS1 will truly put down those kinds of numbers with those types of mods i'd be completely satisfied. fact or fiction??
