Default Interior upgrade.

I got bored with my black/ red doors , decided to get rid of it. I have now completed one door with new look. All Black, middle piece (red before) is perforated vinyl and the armrest got a touch of red stiches this will align with the boots i have from Redlinegoods- all black with red stiches. Also wrapped some DI-NOC to the plastic trim panels on the door.

Old look

New look

Every part is black, in the pictue it seems more like grey it is not. All is black and only the red stiches is coming out. Di-Noc goes also into a blackout shade. Probably the fluorescent lamp above the desk is the reason why it sems like it goes more in grey (also a crappy camera).

You need to do a better job stretching the vinyl. All of the waves in it kill any chance of it being considered an upgrade. And.. stitching looks silly when there is no seem there.

But what do I know.. I have stock interior.

You still have the red from the center? I plan on doing that same thing. If you'll give away the old piece for cheap, I'll take it off your hands!

The price of shipping the vinyl alone from sweeden to the states isnt worth it. You could go to a fabric store and buy 3 yards and install yourself and have pieces left over to do more with.

Not feeling the new interior the old looked much better. Much cleaner, I would have left it all alone and just painted the door handle bezel and widow switch plates black or paid to get them hydro dipped.

Its not bad just dosent look as good as your old setup.

I like the new version better . The vinyl grain pattern and finish on the new version looks so much nicer . The grain pattern on the old one is cheap looking and the vinyl is too shiney . Should you ever do the armrest pad over , you should create a actual seem so its a real french stitch . Looks nice though . The Di-noc also looks way better than the fake brushed stick on pieces .

Thanks for all comments, concerning to this it´s seems to be a downgrade

Still in a experimental stage either i go with black armrest or how about a
red one, opinion please.

And yeah stiches are gone now.

I think a red armrest would be nice... Dont make the stitches open so they can be seen though. put them on the back side if at all possible.
