Im sure this is a long shot but im about to buy a car and i just want to run a carfax/autocheck on it to be sure of its history.

Anyone here have an account that could help me with pulling a report?

Dude, thanks for running the vin but i already bought the car! lol Picked it up about a week ago and i actually had a guy over on corvetteforum run it for me right before i decided to buy it. I wasnt having any luck over here until now and i wanted to be sure it was all clean before i went to meet the seller.

Thanks ace2708, however, I'm pretty sure that cheapvinreport.com is a fly-by-night sort of thing. It was just registered in February 2010 using private registration to cloak ownership and my guess is that it is a low-tech individual attempting to resell from a private account with CarFax, AutoCheck or the like. There is no such business as "Cheap Vin Report" or "JV Biz" (the name on the PayPal payment page) and they're using a Gmail account for email. I'm posting in hope that someone simply has an extra credit on a 2-for-1 deal with AutoCheck or CarFax, or a 90-day account or something and can run a report for me. Thanks just the same.:nod:
