Default 8.5@91(1/8),What is wrong with this?

Shouldn't the et be better than this? ,60 ft. 2.2-2.3 range, would slicks be my "cure"??00 SS,6spd,spec stg 3,lid,lm,50-80 shot yields the same results!

Your 60' is killing your ET I will say that much, slicks would definitely help

91 mph in the 1/8 will translate to a good 11.70-11.80 pass easily if you can hook up all the power! Get some sticky tires and enjoy a lower et!

my formula is pretty much a stocker with the minor bolt-ons listed, and the sportsman pros are on 16 x 8 take-off rims from slp. I like the sportsman pros better than drag radials b/c they have a decent sidewall and tread depth to hook more consistent. A friend has em on a 95 formula with bolt-ons, a 3400 stall jw convertor and 3.73 gears and he cuts 1.70s on them consistently and gets 10,000+ miles and about 200 runs from a set. They work great for daily driving, including rain! I use M/T ET Streets on my Nova, once you get into the 1.6 60 foot range, a dot slick or drag slick should be your tire of choice.

Good luck!

i do between 88 and 89 mph in the 1/8th and run 7.60-7.70s....thats good for a 12.10 pass.....91 mph in the 1/8th is definitely and 11 second pass! 1.8th mile should be in the 7.30-7.50 range. 2.3 60 foot is destroying your et! good sticky tires will make your car feel like a whole different animal.

I was running 26x11.5x16 ET Streets for the 1.57.

I greatly appreciate all of your responses,no wonder, I figured something was NOT right with the et/mph equation, man I would slap happy with a mid to high 7 second pass, only problem than would be,no matter how fast we go,it is still NEVER fast enough! Thanks again for the help.
