needing a new trans mount?

aftermarket mounts are much stiffer than oem and, in most cases, transmit tons of vibration and noise into the cabin. some people say they loosen up after a while and its not so bad, others say that it remains terrible. i say go oem and save the trouble.

isn't energy suspension just a company...prothane being the material they use....but anyways I have a prothane tranny mount and initially it'll ridiculously transfer all the vibrations to the car...but after a week or two you won't even notice it and it'll feel stock. It's one of those parts ppl consider 1 part towards race car 1 part less of a daily driver...but I really don't see vibrations being a problem unless you're pushing upwards to 500hp+......like if you have a BBC stroker w/ a lopey cam you'll feel the difference without a doubt. I say just do it.

No energy and prothane are both brands and they are both made out of polyurethane. I've been running a energy suspension mount for 3 years with no problems it did vibrate a little more but nothing major
