Wrapped Interior
I started wrapping my interior in leather. OK...vinyl. I started from the back and am working my way forward but I can't decide how to wrap the doors. I have a black 2001 Camaro. I thought about wrapping all door pieces in the same black vinyl but it seems like the whole door wrapped in the same material would be kinda boring. Does anyone have any ideas for a way to make the door panels look more interesting?

I have the same dilemma, either black armrest or should i go for red??
This was my former look on the door, got a bit tired of the big red chunk and the cheap look of the dash interior trim piece.

Hey Viking, I appreciate the input. You're the one who inspired me to start this project in the firstplace. Love your interior. I personally could go either way with the red and black look. Are those suede panels in your door?

Thought about suede to change the material and still keep a high end look. That's a very strong possibility. Just looking for a few more ideas.

Still havent got an opportunity to go to the fabric store. I found out recently that GM in 1996 did those red inserts on ws6's. So I will be going that way as I try to stay in the look if GM would have done it.
Yes. this is 100 percent bone stock.
Plan on trying to do the stock headliner too...

The theme I'm after for the interior is all black with some brushed aluminum pieces such as the steering wheel, shift ****, e-brake, and pedals. I won't be incorporating brushed aluminum door inserts so I think suede will be the way to go. I'm wrapping the sail panels tonight. I'll keep posting pics for anyone who is interested. I'll try to take better pics than the last ones

check out the trailblazer shift **** if brushed aluminum is on the list. It is an amazing piece. I am not sticking with the brushed, but for your goal, it would look absolutely amazing.
Check it out here.
It is a GM part, so GM could (SHOULD) have done it. I am going for the same "GM" could have done it look and this piece matches awesomely.
