The comments are messed up too. Blame the car? or blame the homeowner whose tree the guy ran into? Does nobody take responsibility anymore?!
Oh, and the other guy writing in all caps (which I shall refrain from using to keep our sanity), "he didn't mean to kill his friend, it was just a mistake" yeah well dude that was quite the mistake, somebody died because of it. And he should know better than to do that kind of stuff.

22.
Man, I have survived all kinds of drinking and driving when I was that age, it takes a couple of dead friends to realize that drinking and driving isn't worth it. Do I still do it? Occasionally. But I live a block from the bar and drive like an old lady now.
I really feel like we need to lower the drinking age, and raise the driving age. Driving is serious business.

i always find it weird how the intoxicated person survives a crash, when others are killed.

As with people who crash while sleeping. One's body in either condition is loose and fluid. Our bodies are quite resilient, its when we tense up and attempt to fight the movements that we start pulling muscles, breaking arms etc.
Of course this doesn't really apply to 'serious' accidents, you can be loose as a goose and still be drained like tuna in a can.
I also think control has a lot to do with it, Given 4 conscious bodies, the driver in control, or at least understanding how his / her input is affecting / not affecting the situation can prepare more so than their passengers.

Very sad. :nono:
i always find it weird how the intoxicated person survives a crash, when others are killed. That is often the case I agree, but in this situation it appears that possibly both of them were drinking, not that it really matters either way. :(

Caption of the picture reads "This is what remained of a 2010 Camaro that claimed the life of one man."
Yeah, it was the Camaro that claimed his life. The Camaro did it. It's the Camaro's fault. Horse shit.
