Default Quick Help On Tire Size

I just ran over a piece of angle iron with a nail in it....and there is a storm about to hit New York......so i gotta get to the tire place quick....could I fit 275/45-18 on the back of my '06 CTS-V? or what size bigger can I go??...suspension is stock....Help Me Guys !

Don't know how big you can go, but I highly doubt a 275/45 would fit. If it did, it look look really stupid. A 275/45 is too tall. You might be able to fit a 275/40 or 275/35, but I honestly don't know. I run 265/40 & it is very close to rubbing.

You want a 275/40/18 to match the stock height. I have these on the back of mine on stock wheels and they fit fine. Not ideal for tracking the car.

Here's mine with Goodyear GSD-3's that run a little wide for 275's.

I run Nitto NT-05 in a 275/40/18 on stock wheeks as my track tires and have never had an issue with tires rubbing........and love the grip!
