I've decided to buy another camaro for my ls6, I'm thinking of buying another 98 but with a t56. My question is, it should be a direct replacement with the engine harness since the one one the ls6 is shot and the new one comes with an ls1. Im I correct?

should be a direct change. i had the same thing done, from a 99 camaro motor to a 2002 ls6 motor, had no problems, just had to retune.
