Default Can a Automatic PCM be flashed for a Manual Transmission?

I have a 411 PCM from a automatic 2001 Tahoe. Can this PCM be reflased to work with my 2002 LS1 T56 Manual Camaro Pullout swap going into my RX7? or do I need to get a specific PCM for this engine and tranny? I want all the Transmission functions to work. Will a tuner be able to do this? such as reverse lockout etc.

Thanks for the help guys.

Yup when i fried my stock computer i bought one from gm (supposed to be a new blank computer) it had a tune on it from a 2003 chevy avalanche. All i did was reflash it with my stock tune using hptuners works fine.

hmm. Probably true but I never received a reply regarding a question about tuning my pcm from efilive and wideband data logs. I wrote them off.

Yes you can... just keep in mind that it is more than a single switch. When I tinkered with my LQ4, I found close to 30 differences between a manual and automatic tune... and that isn't including any of the spark/fuel tables.

I'm going through PCMforLess to get my semi-final tune. They got back to me 2 days latter with regards to a bunch of questions.

We'll see how quick they get back to me with tune... I'm doing email tuning since I've got a Jet DST

Yes you can flash a stock 2002 M6 program into that PCM. Which software do you intend to use? If it's HPTuners, I can send you a stock 2002 M6 program to flash in, which will be a good place for you to start (you'll need to disable VATS and possibly make some other changes).

Where do you live? If you don't have the software, maybe someone local to you can help you. If you're in New England, I'll gladly help.
