Default How to tell OEM SS spoiler?

Hey guys, need some help. Found an SS spoiler on Craigslist and its supposed to be OEM with light for 150. Is there anyway to make sure that it is OEM? A casting number check like I used on my ls6 intake or something? Or some physical difference that would differentiate OEM and aftermarket spoilers?

Anyone got a link to how these bitches mount too, my car is in storage and Im curious how it installs. Im guessing there is bolts on the hatch under the trim but I dont have my car to look.

Thanks,
Josh

I know the aftermarket ones I have seen are one piece, and my oem SS wing is a two piece design. Meaning the top of the oem is attached to the bottom section, you can see the seem along the back of the wing (the aftermarket ones do not have a seem on the rear of the wing). The aftermarket SS wings usually use bolts to attach the wing to the car, and oem has the threads attached to the wing and is held down using nuts like a factory camaro wing.

yeah, OEM has 2 piece design, compared to 1 piece on aftermarket, as mentioned you can tell the seam along the top.

Also the OEM break light on the SS Spoiler will say "SLP 3920847" whatever the numbers I don't remember. Just that it says SLP
