LS1 Carb setup for '69 Camaro
Installing a 2002 LS1 & T56 into my '69. I am looking to do a carb setup and am currently looking for a few pieces of advice. I am interested in hearing about any cam profiles that are recommended for a carbureted LS1. I still haven't decided which intake to use mainly because I am not too sure if I should set it up with a MAP sensor to take advantage of cruising efficiency or if it even makes that big a difference running without a MAP sensor. I am aware of the possibilities with an MSD 6010 and it's tuneability or the option to run the Edelbrock box without the tuning. Is there anyone running with the MAP sensor and the vacuum advance, and if so, how's it working out for you? This will help my decision in selecting either the GMPP intake 88958675 with the MSD 6010 or the Victor Jr intake & ignition kit 2908. I am building a street car so the most extreme high horsepower setup is not what my intentions are. Your input is appreciated.

If you are building a street car then you'll want to run a MAP sensor to smooth out the part throttle driving. I'm running the Victor Jr with the MSD 6010 and a MAP, I still have some tuning to do to get it smoothed out though
