Default MTs and wheel spacers?

when to the track last summer and got a best of 13.1@110 with full bolt ons with 12 bolt n 4.11s, 60 ft was only 2.09 so i think if i get that down to 1.7 i should be mid/low 12s

problem is the 12 bolt is out of a 3rd gen so im running aluminum wheel spacers with grade 8 studs, held fine with that street tires at the track and they didnt say anything about it

but are they even allowed at the track? would they hold good with some MT et street?

I can't imagine they aren't allowed. Being aluminum I would be nervous to run them with slicks. If they were steel I would be much more confident in them. Your choice but I would try to find some steel and give her hell.

everything i read said the actually spacer doesnt break, its the studs that snap (wheni bought them) and aluminum was just better due to lighter rotating mass but there was no difference in strength, but idk lol

NHRA rulebook says spacers are allowed as long as they are not stacked. I've run them for a while and no problems.
