t-56 question got a question .. so i pulled the shifter off my 2000 ss i was gettin a 4h gear spit out.. took everything completely off everything looked fine except for this plastic fitting that sat inside the rod where the bottom steel piece of the shifter itself fits in , it looked bent and worn down, does anyone know what this plastic piece is? .. just wondering..
