paging todd2001ss...
hey I was wondering how you got out the bottom part of your console? I tried pulling mine out for easier access to remove the cable for my electric cutout and it kept snagging on the parking brake. I pulled the parking brake back as far as I could but I didn't want to bend it really far. I figured you know this since you had to pull yours out for your carbon fiber. Thanks!

Hold it down with a screw driver to disengage the bake to allow the handle to move freely upward.
I hope this makes sense, I will scan a pic from my Helms Manual and post it for you in a half hour.
