Default Raising rear of lowered car

I have a firebird with an eibach pro kit. I want to raise the rear of the car just a little bit. About 1/2". I do not want to put the stock springs back in. Can a firmer shock help do this?

No, the rear shock has nothing to do with the rear ride height.
You could put some rear Hotchkis 1" lowering spring in it.

^^^What he said. Did you take out the isolators when you put in the rear springs? That'll give you 3/4" right there.

I'll have to look. The kit was on when I bought the car. You are talking about that rubber piece right?

If the isolators are gone you could always try and slide some thick heater hose over the first coil and see if it helps a little...

you may want to check to see if the isolators are in there. If not, they would help

When I took off the OEM shocks(which are 'gas charged' and do 'lift' slightly) and went to QA1 double adjustables(not gas charged) I used those as a quick and dirty fix to get the height back to OEM. One package of 4 is all required,2 per coil spring. No dis-assembly of spring required for installation.
