Default exhaust size?

I a buying a new muffler for my 2000 T/A 5.7. Going with a flowmaster.
Before ordering - what size is the stock exhaust 2.25 or 2.50.
need to know so I order the right inlet outlet size. Thanks.

Default

3" inlet, 2.5" outlets

That being said, I would NOT use flowmaster on a LS1. They drone and are restrictive. I would reccomend magnaflow. This is the one you need, but you should shop around for the best price.http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...e=main&id=8090

Same muffler for under $100, new from ByunSpeed.

It sounded great one my near stock LS1 and even better on my HCI stroked LS2.

you can get the 12267 magnaflow from performance peddler with the discount code bestoffer4em for $89.10 shipped. Thats where i got mine back in september (although it was a little cheaper then, $86.40)

it's got a nice sound (this is on my mostly stock LT1)

I found them while looking for the best price for that very muffler. I doubt anyone else can beat $89.10 shipped. IIRC they have the 14267 for about $105 shipped. I think they have a warehouse in michigan and in california. I figured they'd ship me one from michigan since i'm in indiana but they were temporarily out of stock in MI and had to ship me one from CA. it still arrived pretty quick (ordered on a wednesday i believe and it was there by monday or tuesday of the next week)
