Was the min weight different for other cars with different engines, or was everybody at that min?

Something like this....
SB Nitrous 2500
SB Turbo 3100
BB Turbo 3150
BB TT 3250
SB TT 3200
BB Nitrous 3100

The weights are close just need alittle tweaking. SB Nitrous can run at 2400#.

So that equates to a 6.9X 1/4 mile? Incredible acceleration with no real lift at all. All energy going into forward motion.

Possibily much quicker than a 6.9x, but never know since some cars are set-up for 1/8 mile specifically versus a 1/4-mile deal where the 1/8-mile time might be a little slower but the top end #s are impressive.

Im pretty sure the motor is a 540.

It was Scott Clarks that had a F3R on it making a little over 2300 on alcohol. The shortblock was not touched, the heads were actually ported and then the motor was sold to wolfe.

As far as 1/4 times, 40 mph is not uncommon out of a setup like this. You do the math.

That is retarded that they are running deep into the 6's on drag radials. I remember a few years back when M/T came out with the ET street radial and I bought a set, threw on my T/A, ran 10.17@133mph and alot of people were impressed that I ran those times on a radial. NBow if you can't run at least mid 7's on them you might as well stay home. I love the way Wolfes car goes down the track so smoothe.

Hans Feustal re-did that whole motor....its a 532. Wolfe even went back through the heads.

So a 4.44 sounds like to me would be a 6.6 in the 1/4. What's next? 5's on a DR? Based on that.

If I do the math: Car Weighs 3250 and puts out 2300HP that equates to 6.3 ET with a 208MPH trap speed.

5's would need at least 190mph at the 1/8 with a door car, that might be more than the tire has to give but I would not bet against it! Crazy what can be done on that tire for sure.....

I was at the race also, definitely one of the best races this year. The Mayor knows how to put on a show.
