Default V6 Transplant? New project ideas!

Well I sold the bird and am thinking about starting another project...bigger and better

I want to know if it would be worth finding a 98-02 V6 Firebird with a ton of miles on it and strip the valvetrain or if I can find an older Firebird with and LT1 to replace. I'm thinking of going with a 6.0L 408-416ci and putting on a D1SC Procharger coupled to a built 4L80E. Would the computer system matter at all? What about the wiring harness differences? I'd like to stay fuel injected as I hate old school carburetors. Let me know what you all think.

Thanks!

Honestly I'd find an LS1 car and be done with it. You'd need a different k-member, supporting hardware and a bunch of nickel and dime stuff.

You can find quite a few good examples for a low price.

Heck I'd even go for this one: LINK

I'll sell you my Loaded 02 V6 Bird for $7000. V6 engine and the Trans all in great working order so you could get planty of money back from selling em. The body is in great shape other than the windshield crack (single crack on half the glass).
