Default car lag

So when i get on the acceleration, my car will lag, sputtering than finally kicks in, its a 6-speed trans am, any ideas or advice on what could cause such?

You can try cleaning the MAF. Change fuel filter, plugs and wires if they haven't been changed recently.

99% sure its the plugs! Mine did the exact same thing until I changed the plugs and wires

Well, did u just get the car?

Spark plugs are the first thing, and depending on the milage replace fuel filter and air filter.
