Default Car throwing P0420 code and oil pressure above normal

Yesterday morning the SES light came on so I took it to AutoZone to have them scan it and it was reading code P0420 (Catalyst efficiency low - bank 1). I've also noticed that the Oil Pressure gauge is showing a significant rise in oil pressure (normally it sits at around 45, now it sits around 55-60 or more if past 2/3 throttle). Off the top of my head I'm thinking maybe a bad PCV valve (would explain the increase in oil pressure),but I thought I would post and see if anyone else has experienced this and what the cause was in their case.

Any ideas?

Thanks for that, I wasn't even aware of that special policy. I'm wondering when the cutoff is though (whether it is good through the 10th year or if it expires on the first day of the 10th year).Guess I'll have to give the dealership a call a little later and see what they say.

I just got mine back today. It took a couple days because they had to special order the part. But having the V8 means that that specific policy number covers your car for 10/120,000 from when it was placed in service. I didn't pay a dime and even got a free car wash!

I called the dealership today and apparently my car is still covered (my car is a 2000 so I guess that it includes the 10th year) so I will be taking it up there tomorrow to have them take a look at it.
