Default 89 Pace Car

Does anyone know if the Grand National front coil springs are the same as on the 89 Pace Car since the motor weighs 100-120lbs less or did they just use the V8 springs? Thanks.

I dont think they are the same, the Trans Am has the WS6 suspension package which should be much stiffer than the Grand National. The 1989 Turbo Trans Am used a front spring that carried the BXX code, part number 14029396.

Problem is I need to figure out what springs I can use. The car currently has lowering springs that don't give the car much suspension travel. Eibach's I think. So, what springs can be used? I was looking at the global west set that drop it an inch, but doesn't hurt the ride or weight transfer.
