I put mine thru the bumper cover, I'll have to get the pic's up one of these days. I used a flaming river switch with it, and welded a tab off the rollcage for the switch, and a lug to ground the battery too while we were at it.

Came out good.

^^^ i like any info on where you got this set up. To be NHRA legal dont you have to have a push pull switch like above?

Here's how mine was done. Right out the bumper cover, it's worked out good so far. You can also see the ground lug that was put on the cage for the battery. No ground issues with my car.

In the middle of the license plate....Never had a prob with the law (most of them are fine since they can see all the numbers) but I know if they want to be a @ss about it its illegal....

yes nhra want it push off..this way if you spin an smack the wall it will kill the car on impact..also if it was pull off and you wreck the rod could get bent and you may not be able to pull it out and kill the car.

I purchased a switch inlieu of the push/pull piece before we did our homework and discovered there is not a solid area near the WS6 emblem to securely mount it, so it looks like it too is going in the center of the license plate, and will just hope for the best with DPS, the rest likely wont stare the car down looking for trouble.

i dont think the rule book explicitly state that it has to be push off, moroso and other companies have the cheaper **** turn off.. its just how most people do it. It does say though that the direction has to be marked with a direction.

alright my buddy found some thread online that said its push off only too. though with your second part, i would think a bent rod would be harder to push in then pull out? in any event, i'll switch it over. i guess they just want consistency with the mounting.
