Great car and nice vid there.

Have you thought about making up some sort of airbox to draw air only through the hood? Seems like you'd pick up less hot exhaust air that way.

Thanks Guys, The Video doesn't even begin to convey how much fun this car is to drive!

Drag-strip is NEXT after possibly one more dyno tune, now it's got 3000 miles on it.

I custom built long tube headers, jet-coated into dual 2-1/2" exhaust, magnaflow stainless X-pipe and out through dual 3" Flowmaster Super 44s.

The dyno proved the smaller exhaust makes more Torque at lower RPM with the LS2, more useful since with six-speed and 3:73 gears I top or fly at 200+ according to calcs.

I've gone 160 in this car and it gets hairy!

And MikeG, if you'll notice in the Video where the hood is up, the huge louvers I built in, the driver's side set sits right over the K&N, when the hood's closed so it's drawing cool air, only problem is under hard acceleration the filter screams loud, right in front of you, it's a little weird.

I love it. That exhaust sound woke me up, wasn't expecting to hear all that outta that lil Mx5. Bet your surprise quite a few people.

You can't believe it, it is TOO COOL to pull up next to a Viper, Porsche, etc. and the driver glances over at you, you Rev it once and he WON"T Ever Look at you Again, they just creep away from the stop-light, it's Hilarious, PRICELESS!!!

Thanks Guys

Thanks MAV, it works so well mainly because of how Linear the Stock LS2 is.

Light foot, Docile, surprising just like driving a Honda Civic to the store for Groceries.

Heavy Foot, Educational, surprising just like opening a Suit-Case containing a Pissed-Off Bob-Cat!
