The 3M seems to be the favorite for removing swirl marks. Zaino is great for "filling" in the swirls. I prefer the less invasive method of filling, but alot of folks have good success with the 3M. The main thing is to keep from putting in new ones, whichever method you prefer.

After about 40 applications of Zaino Z-5, my swirls are almost gone. But still will take about 40 more to make me happy. If you use Z-5, I also suggest you always switch to Z-2 for a coat or two before a show.

If it took 40 coats, they were scratches, not swirl marks. Or new ones are getting put on. Most folks usually need 4-5 coats of Zaino Z-5 to get rid of swirl marks completely.
