Negative Trader Feedback - Beware of ebay scammer themaroking

I was selling my LS1 heads here as well as on ebay, I was contacted by themaroking asking if I would accept an ammount for them and I said yes, told him to call me when he was available and I would adjust the auction to the price he wanted to pay. I didn't want to do it before he was available since someone that had not contacted me and asked could buy them out from under him. So eventually he calls me and I ask him to hang on while I adjust the auction and he says it is ok just to cancel it and he will just paypal me for them. I shouldn't have but I said ok and we hang up and sure enough I get the paypal. unfortunatly the address is unconfirmed. This combined with not completing it on ebay since that is where it was initiated made me uncomfortable. Then he emails me completely different address and asks me to ship them there. I refunded his cash through paypal and said no way. Luckily these forums helped me dicide it was a scam. He apperantly has caused members here trouble before.

So just a warning to anyone if you see this guy run the other way. he is currently selling more LS parts so members here are a prime target.

Oh yeah and all is good I ended up selling the heads to a great member on these boards that asked me to ship them to a confirmed address and I felt a lot more comfortable selling them to.

i clicked on one of the items he had up for sale. apparently his girlfriend is using his account to sell credit? smells scammish to me.
