Default Passenger headlight lid not closing like normal

My passenger lid seems to be hitting almost flush with the bumper cover out of the blue. What is the proper gap? Forever both had about 1/4" or so at the bottom from the bumper cover but now the passenger sits flush. Is something all of the sudden wrong and how do you adjust them? Still both work fine just the spacing.

If I remember right you can take the black housing off with the light up and loosen the two screws up at the top/front and adjust it out/up. Someone or thing may have pushed on it causing it to slide down in the slots. Hope this works for ya, only thing I could think of since it just started happening.

Found the problem. Little white grommet type adjuster it rests on was snapped. Anyone have the part number for it? I'm going to buy a bag of them I think.

I had my GM lady research it. I have part number but discontinued. She found me two on a shelf in the U.S. Will offer up the number after I get mine! LOL

Actually I am thinking those are for aiming the beams. Can anyone confirm?

I don't have the part number, but if I am recalling correctly, you will be buying the square nylon piece (that snaps into the body) and the screw with the white hex head (that screws into the nylon piece) separately. I replaced them all one of the times I had the headlights removed. Take one to Autozone and they should have the exact pieces on one of their miscellaneous piece carts.
