lsx vs 1 and 2j motors in one mile speed event inquiry. The team is thinking of putting on a one mile event strictly for 1 and 2j engine vehicles vs LSx motors this coming fall. We are wondering if this would be of interest to the ls1tech community.
It won't prove who has the best motor, but it will be fun and given bragging rights to the one side with the highest mphs.

Trying my heart out to be ready for your april event,..so we'll test there but,... ANY mile event that my car is together for, I am all in. Whatever day, month, whatever.
Great idea.... but,...finding enough of BOTh cars will prove tough. I know the first mile event, we had vettes everywhere,... and only what,..5-8-10 supra's? Either way,... I like the idea.

The event would cater to the supra motor and lsx motors. The supra motor is common in SC3/400s, GS3/400s, 240SXs and so on. I'm sure the lsx crowd would be readily available to run. If we can get 25 or so 1j/2j cars to show will pit up an equal amount of lsx cars.

Wouldnt be hard to go in the florida section on supraforums dot com and get a ton of them interested. There are some of the fastest supras in the US here in FL and they would love to defend them as being the true topspeed kings.
I just hope theres enough LS1s that are turbo or supercharged to put a good fight up against those big *** single turbo 2jz

FYI, i'll be driving a 2009 modded CTS-V at a 1 mile event tomorrow(sunday) at the same airport runway. Should be fun.
Something like that. Hopefull you have your gear ratio thought out as well.

i have a couple buds with sc300s with 2js making over 700rwhp ready to represent for the 1j/2j side.
If we get more interest, I'll communicate between this board and the supra and lexus boards on the status of this actually happening and then we'll work on getting members on each team.

you should deff go on to supraforums.com and post in the FL section. i know there are alot off ppl on there that would love to do this. and i also know fl has some of the baddest supras on the road.
