Default Just bought a 2000 Pontiac Trans am Firehawk

I just bought this recently. Its a 2000 Pontiac Trans am Firehawk. I know all about these cars. It is a 6 speed with 80k Miles on it. Silver with black leather seats. T-top. Slp car (all firehawks are). Planning on really spending money on this car. Any suggestions?

Things I want to do in mind:
5% tint all around
Black Taillights and exhaust fascia
Either black z06 wheels or just paint firehawk wheels black (which one)?
Lower with upgraded suspension
K&N Intake
85MM Throttle body
80MM Intake manifold
Both bbk
MTI X1 Cam
BBk Headers and Y Pipe
The SLP exhaust that come with car
Custom exhaust tips
SCT Tuner with 92 Octane Tune
And Maybe Maybe some Dart heads
Gears
clutch
Short Throw shifter
And Then dyno.

That would be ok for a while

It all sounds good to me! Most people start out with exhaust/intake and go from there. But hey do it your way man....maybe all at once?!?

Would also love to see some pics

I'd stick with the Firehawk rims myself. I think they look great, and they were never reproduced. So that means almost nobody has them except Firehawk people.

If you want to spend some big bucks on some CCW's, HRE's or something like that, go for it. But please don't slap some cheap Corvette reproduction wheels on it like everybody else has.

I agree with the above guys. Either leave the firehawk rims or get something really nice like CCW's. Just please dont put vette rims on it.
I couldn't afford CCW's, so I went with TT2's.

DO NOT swap on a BBK Intake Manifold, the minor gain is out stripped by the weight of that portly peice of garbage. Look for a used LS6 which is lighter and gains nearly as good and goes on Average 300$. Port the Stock TB for cheap.

Go For a SLP Lid set up, cleaner. But with the Firehawk set up the Dual Cone set up may gain more (maybe) but looks ugly as all heck.

Go Long tubes or Go Home UNLESS you have a strict Visual inspection rule, there some good header companies out there that offer good ground clearence headers.

Textralia OZ700 Z grip CLutch
Tick Performance Adj Master Cyl
4.10 Gears

Start Saving for a 12 bolt.
