Default LS7 clutch

well im low on money due to full exhaust, so i heard that LS7 clutch and flywheel is cheaping then buying stage 2, and was wondering, do i need to get Master Cylinder?

i know to get the slave cylinder but dont know about the master cylinder

Also, since this is an LS7 clutch, and the slave and master cylinders say LS1, does that mean i can still buy the LS1 slave cylinders?

Thanx

Yes you can still run the LS1 slave and a new master is not really needed but I've heard nothing but good things of the Tick Adjustable. You might look into it

I think the kit will bolt right up to the F body. The flywheel that comes with that kit is that a direct bolt on to f body?

i put one on a couple weeks ago and yes you can get it in a kit for around 550 or so at ws6 store, thats where i got mine. the reason it comes with a flywheel is because the ls7 clutch has a different flywheel. its the same flywheel as the ls2, and ls3. you dont even have to get it in a kit you just have to get the ls2,3,7 flywheel to go with it. thats all thats needed to put the ls7 clutch on. and it will work like a charm

Yes the flywheel bolts up to an LS1. You may or may not need a master cylinder, but if you do, dont waste your money on a stock one, get a Tick MC. Get the new clutch in, then bleed it thoroughly.

Also get a speedbleeder while you have the tranny out if you dont have one. You'll thank yourself later.
