Default vette exhaust manifolds?

So, I'm workin on getting my brother's ws6 ready for its honeymoon with him when he gets back from Iraq next month. He is currently working on exhaust components and has bought. high flow cats, tsp rumbler and tips. He is thinking about ebay stainless longtubes..... I know, I know, I know. He may have even bought them already. I read in an article that iron vette manifolds make barely less horsepower and torque than aftermarket headers and considerably more than f body manifolds. So, here's my question... Will they fit ok ? I'm guessing there would have to be some custom exhaust fabrication from their flanges to the cat-back, but what about clearance and what-not? Thanks for your help. I've got four or five weeks to get her done.

Im not sure, I wouldnt think they do. I have a set of 2000 fbody manis sitting out back and the manis off my 04 z06, ill look at them tomorrow side by side, but i believe the vette manifolds will be pointing at the bottom of the fire wall on a fbody, not sure though.

by pointing at the bottom. do you mean not feasable to use or is there room to bend some pipe? Thanks for checking on it.

I bought a set of stainless e-bay long tubes and x-pipe. They fit great on my C5. Can't beat them for the price.
