hurst cable and bm shifter

hurst cable and bm shifter I have a b & m rathcet shifter and a th350 trans. The b&m cable wont work with the trans because the gear selector lever on the side is missing the holes. It just has a 1.5" slot in it. I need the hurst cable because it has eyelets at both ends unlike b&m with one eyelet and one threaded end. Will this hurst cable work with the b&m shifter?
