Default The V replacement

Well the V gets picked up on Saturday and this is its replacement. I loved the V but do to some changes I decided to try out a Corvette. It is a 2005 DSOM coupe with a 6 speed and z-51 suspension along with everything minus the Nav but still bose 6 disc changer and glass top. I think i will enjoy very much. Not as intriguing as the V was or as stealth but someday im sure someday ill be back in a V. I will still lurk you guys are a wealth of information.

there once was girl a ring and a date that ended so unless something happens I should be good for a bit in vet

I picked this one up for 27k at a dealer in stl. it is a gm certified with warranty. they were asking 31 and the sales man tried playing games. I shot a couple low offers and he shot back high, I finally said if you will take 27 ill put a deposit on it. he said yes so i got it. I really wanted one with black interior but the cashmere is growing on me.

One good thing the windows are already tinted along with the tail lights. It also has cold air intake and exhaust. Soon to be my monster clutch just have to send in the slave and they are replacing it free so I can use it.

I was about really start dumping money in the v but after talking with some ppl I took that money and bought this. They seem to hold value a little better and you can put the power to the ground at the strip

Great choice, and price, with your C6, as:

Best sedan in the world=CTS-V
Best coupe in the world=C6/C6Z/ZR1

Preference mostly dictated by seats/*****, good luck with the car, you made good choices such as M6 and Z51, look into a ProCharger.

Congrats on the Vette!! I like it, and the color is cool.

There is a C5 in my garage, and I like it allot... but I like the V for daily driving. The Vette is a comfortable car actually, but I just bought a V... and couldn't be happier.

I was looking into a C5 z06 or C6 and my deciding factor was the drivability. I figured the V would be better suited to be driving daily. Im not in a position to have more than 1 car while im in school so i needed a car that would work for everything which the V does.

The vettes are more like toys to me. Ill have one eventually... just thought it might be tough driving a 2 seater daily.

Nice color, very fun car.

My buddie bought one that was without navi and put a nice double din pioneer in it.
Looks like factory and I bet it sounds better then stock.

When I bought my V less the a year ago there wasnt any c6 vettes for under 30, so thats a damm good deal.

The car runs great man! Drove it home 6 hours and still wanted to clean it up when i got home. Here it is setting with the cobra. It puts the cobra to shame in every way besides power. Congrats on the new vette and you if you ever come to Indiana your more than welcome to take her for a spin again. Already have the springs on the way and am going to call about the hood in the morning.

cobra looks and glad you are already enjoying the car. It was a pleasure doing business with you and have fun with the modding.

I got a great deal on the vette, they are still selling for upper 29-31k. I had fun with the sales man, I pretty much told him if he wanted to make some money he would work with me. the were asking 29 for it plus all there fee's I shot him a price of 26 he came back with 27,500.00 and still all the fee's. I said id 27k with no extra fee's and ill put the deposit on it either you want to sell it or ill go some where else. Ill be damned if he didn't jump on that deal...something about the ill take it today factor that they like.

Its going to be more or less my DD. I figure I'm 27 and can get in and out easy not a lot of groceries to by myself at the store ect so it will work for me. I also have my winter/bad weather truck that will be getting driven quite often now.
