Question on utra z hood now made by Trufiber I am in the market for a ultra z hood on my 99 z28 and have a few questions. I spoke to a representative from SLP who told me they stopped making the ultra z hood. When was this and why did they discontinue production? My other question I have is, now the only company I have found to make this hood now is Trufiber, I don't know much about them and I am looking to purchase one of these hoods BAD so is there anyone on here that has had any problems or concerns with this style hood I should be aware of? I really need some insight into this company and their product because I don't want to buy junk, I just want a good hood so any suggestions will help a million!

have any of you seen or heard of problems with the fit? or the fiberglass cracking or anything like that? I am still curious to why SLP discontinued the hood, was there just not a high demand for them?
