Default Question on utra z hood now made by Trufiber

I am in the market for a ultra z hood on my 99 z28 and have a few questions. I spoke to a representative from SLP who told me they stopped making the ultra z hood. When was this and why did they discontinue production? My other question I have is, now the only company I have found to make this hood now is Trufiber, I don't know much about them and I am looking to purchase one of these hoods BAD so is there anyone on here that has had any problems or concerns with this style hood I should be aware of? I really need some insight into this company and their product because I don't want to buy junk, I just want a good hood so any suggestions will help a million!

have any of you seen or heard of problems with the fit? or the fiberglass cracking or anything like that? I am still curious to why SLP discontinued the hood, was there just not a high demand for them?

Doesn't really matter why they discontinued it... They just did. Could be for any number of reasons, but at the top of the list was that it wasn't making financial sense in some form or the other.
