It shouldn't be a problem. I have a redline and the boot is sandwiched in place between the console top and the stock plastic slider thing around the shifter.

No not really any pics other than a top shot. Take the console off (should be just 2 bolts under the coin holder in the center console, then remove the shift ****, pull the car out of park, and slide it off the shifter), and take a look at the under side. There plastic slider thing is screwed onto the top with 4 screws if I remember right. Just flare out the bottom of the boot, unscrew the plastic slider, put the boot in the hole from the top, then screw the plastic slider down tight holding the boot in between the slider and console top. It should hold it in place pretty well. Then just slide the console top back into place and put the shifter through the slider and the boot, and reinstall the shift ****. This is actually how Redline said it should be done.

ok I know what your talking about now. Thanks. I'll try this tomorrow. Did you attach it to the bottom of the shifter? With what?

Didn't attach it to the shifter at all actually. Just to the console.

I don't see why you'd want to attach it to the shifter at all. You can take the console apart and just slide it off of the shifter.

It won't. My redline was cut long so i had to push it down to slide the **** on. It literally holds itself up.
