I think you only have to machine it for the SLP timing set. Although I don't know all the details on "every" timing set out there.

My ATI balancer had to be turned down on a lathe to clear the SLP double roller, not sure if this is true with your setup.

I did not have to machine my ASP pulley to fit my rollmaster double roller. Every instance that I've seen machining being necessary on ASP pulleys was on a C5.

my ATI fit w/ no work needed. if you look @ the back of the lower gear for the rollmaster, and compair it to the stock lower gear, you will see that the R/M has a recess so it will slide on a little farther on the snout of the crank. best way to check, is measure the snout of the crank sticking out from the front edge of the lower gear. then install the R/M gear and measure again. should come out to the same. dont just set both gears on a flat surface and compair, the R/M will look taller.

Nope, no machining is necessary. I have the Rollmaster double-roller timing set on my SS.

FYI, we stock the single, double-roller, and heat-treated double-roller Rollmaster timing sets. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
