Default preventing aftermarket intake from sucking in water?!

I have this cheapo ebay intake that came with my car and was wondering if there were any easy creative ways to keep the water from getting sucked into the filter, since "down there" there are holes and whanot and mist and water will come in, i have a feeling that its pretty prone to sucking water.

You would have to spray a garden hose straight into your intake to do any damage or make a difference. Just mist from a rainy day will do nothing. And you're not gonna be racing if its wet out anyway, just driving casually.
