Those with aftermarket converters... please list your gas mileage in town and on the highway. Please list your mods too including specs on the converter. Im just trying to get an idea what I should expect to see with an aftermarket converter. Thanks

23.5 MPG on the highway at 80-85 mph.
I don't know about city driving. Never measured but it could vary wildly depending on how big of a hurry you're in.
11.20 at 121 MPH

26-27 mpg with mostly highway driving. I really don't drive "in town" all that much.
Mods/pertinent info:
2.73 diff
ST3500 TC w/2.5 STR
FRA
Home ported/epoxied TB
NGK TR55 plugs @ .055" / MSD 8.5 plug wires
Stock 16" wheels w/ 245/50 Khumos
Self-modified thermostat and early fan turn on via HPP3
Rev limit / shift points / shift firmness / tire height adjustments via HPP3
25000 GVW trans cooler routed on return line to trans
Directflo air lid/ K&N filter
Strangely enough, I once got about 30mpg on an early morning cross-state trip where I seldom got below the 100-120 mph range. (not recommended).

I get about 18 in the city. 23 on the highway. In the city i get alittle better mileage if i give it some gas. If i putt around the converver slips at 1800 and it stays there longer. Give it more gas and it changes gears faster. Plus its more fun and costs less. Tell you the truth i didnt notice Any change in gas mileage after the converter. Now the cam thats a different story

I get anywhere from 12-15 city with my current setup depending on my driving style, usually closer to 12-13 though. But that's mostly due to the cam. The 'verter did very little to effect my mileage when it was used with the stock cam....

PT4200 converter. MTI stage 2 heads with good size cam. I have gotten as good as 24 highway. Driving around town will cause fuel economy to decrease rapidly. I would say 12-14 mph city driving.

about 15-16 mpg city...mods in sig, somewhere well over 20 mpg on the highway....even with 3.42 gears....
1/4 = 12.110 @ 110.54 mph
60 foot = 1.66 seconds on a 17 inch drag radial
converter specs on this run were a TCS 9 inch 3400 stall 2.5 STR
new converter is a Vigilante 3200 (really more like 36-3800) 9 inch, 2.5 STR
(no times with this but it seems a tenth or two quicker with same mileage)
