Default Edit and EGR Question.

Under Edit/Engine Cal/Test Paramaters there is an EGR Enabled true/false. What is this for. I have already turned off all the EGR codes. Does this need to be set to false?

EGR enable/disable

This simply tells the PCM whether or not the vehicle is running an EGR. If you no longer run an EGR you should set it to false.

Additionally, if you are running a stock cam and have removed the EGR, be sure to look for KR during normal driving. If you see KR, you will have to reduce your timing table slightly.
