Default got a good deal on corvette regulator

I figure I would give a heads up. I just purchased the corvette fuel pressure regulator for under $31 (taxes included) at NAPA! I was looking at doorman quick connects and trying to figure out what I was going to do with my fuel system, and decided to ask what the regulator cost from them.

They list it as $52, but he said there is a sale on filters this week, and it is listed as a 2000 corvette filter, so it was on sale! I don't have it yet, they had to order it, but the pic is of the one I keep seeing on here. Better get it while you can

Hey, thanks for the heads up! Going to need a replacement down the line, might as well be stocked up and ready! And my local NAPA store is awesome, we are rural and he is 4 miles away, the next part store is 25 miles away.
I went in in need of some supplies and forgot my wallet, instead of having to make a 10 mile oops trip he said to pay the next time I'm there. That, and he doesn't charge more than internet prices and can have 98% of the stuff the next AM. Great guy and he builds hoses, lots of farming and logging around here.

Not sure when it ends, after I heard they list it at $52, I was not that interested. Then he said something to the effect of filters on sale this week, and I would pay $31 out the door, then I was interested

Yeah, they carry some dorman fitting and repair kits, and what they don't have in stock, they can order. He brought out the book of fittings so I could look through it. This guy was even new to this location and could find what I was looking at, while the other guy behind the counter didn't know his head from his ***, or just didn't care to get off his *** to help. Just need to find the right guy.

Default NAPA fuel filter/regulator

Bill, thanks for the heads up on the NAPA filter/regulator. I picked one up today and was really pleased at the price ($28.50 + tax, total was $30.50) plus the fact that it is 'Made in USA' as the pic shows and not a POS from China. The sales promotion is "Strike Gold with NAPA Gold Filters", all NAPA Gold filters are 40% off until March 31.

Thumbs up NAPA Filter

Bill, thanks for the heads up x2! I got the Corvette filter for the same price as Mike then another for my 2000 Z28.

Another plus is that they have Mobil 1 oil on sale as well for under $6 a bottle. I will probably grab another six pack next pay day. Too good to pass up!

Monte, this is a little off topic regarding the filter/regulator subject but it is another heads up regarding saving $$$. Look for your Mobil 1 at Wal-Marts, some of them have it in 5 qt jugs for around $20-$23. I've bought them as cheap as $19.95 (that's $3.99 qt) but you might have to check in several Wally Worlds before you find the 5 qt jugs.

I went to our local NAPA yesterday and they said the Vette filter was $41 ON SALE.
I was on my way back to NAPA today to order it for $41 and decided to check in at CAR PARTS since they were on the way and they had that sale. 40% off.( must be the same supplier) $24.01 + tax. so I orfered 2. $54.XX for both.

And to think I almost didn't bother checking CAR PARTS thinking I didn't think they had access to em. LOL.

I remembered my auto supplier name & price incorrectly. It is..... "CAR QUEST Auto Parts " $25.01 with their 40% off. This might help if a NAPA isn't local to someone.

When the sale runs out at NAPA and CQ, I can get them all day long at $24.99. They are made by GK, oe for GM. Wix ones are at $39 all day long.
