Default Will LED's mess up turn signals?

I heard someone say that if you have LED bulbs in the DRL's AND the Taillight's it will cause an issue? I heard they only work properly if you ONLY have LED bulbs in the DRL's? I have the electronic flasher.

Any input would be great!

i just put some in today and they work fine. just make sure you get the right bulb type and install them the right way. if they are installed backwards then they'll do some weird stuff

You got a camaro, t/a's may be a different story, I tried to install switchback leds in my drl lights and they would not work, they flashed and all correctly but no DRL, maybe the NON switchback ones will?

YMMV, cost me $60 to find that out too...WTF!

^^ Are you using the EL 12 flasher?

I just remember reading a thread about even with the flasher unit if you had LED's in the DRL's AND the tails it would mess up turn signals.

Anyone who wants leds in their DRLs. They will trick the car into thinking they are regular filament bulbs.. either that or an electronic flasher

They shouldn't turn off when you engage your headlights..

My mistake, I meant to say DRLs. Side markers are direct swap with no issue
